It’s been a great start to 2017 here at NB. We were first accredited with Investors in People (IIP) back in 2004. So, we’re truly honoured to be certified for another three years.

In simplest terms, The IIP is awarded to companies who look after their staff. Easy. We turn up, we put in a hard days graft and get paid for it. We occasionally get a pat on the head when we do something well. Like writing an amazing blog….

However, like a swan gliding effortlessly across a still pond, there’s a hell of a lot of effort going on underneath to make it look that easy.

Systems and procedures will never be sexy. Over the years, NB has developed and refined its procedures with its employees at the heart of everything that we do. You might weep if you saw the size of our company handbook. But it covers everything from Health and Safety issues to quality assurance and to NB’s environmental responsibilities. 

It’s this framework along with a consistent methodology in applying it that has kept us on The IIP’s radar for so long. We work hard to be the best we can be and we hope that shows in the products and print we supply to our customers. 

We don’t need the IIP certification to bring you great print. But the accreditation helps you see that NB is a great place to work. A happy workplace will have more productive staff who will take care in the work. We think we do. We hope you do too.
